This. Record for DA price. Nobody will pay 4000€ for SR EPS.
It's not going to be 4000 Euro - it looks like about 3,200 or about 1,000-1,100 more street price ex-vat
I pre ordered my rim group (minus crank, dm brakes, and bb cups) and db group (minus crank, bb cups, rotors) from Italy, and my prices fall right in line what is quoted above minus VAT as I am in Canada..

It looks like they are dumbing down Chorus with the different crank than Record or SR.

Maybe they are really focusing on cost and this will be what brackets Ultegra on the high end or equals it in terms of street price.

It may have the Potenza Shifting system as well (which I'm absolutely fine with as I prefer the Potenza downshift buttons anyways).

Then I would guess Potenza 12 Sp would follow shortly thereafter with Alloy crank and lever blades and the two groups sharing chains and cassettes.

Basically Chorus would be carbon Potenza.

That actually makes some sense.

Then Centaur remains the only 11sp group.

I'm sure for now - but I wouldn't surprised to see it 6-12 months from now.

It just doesn't make any sense that Campy would make Chorus specific rings and Cassettes without planning for there use elsewhere.

Maybe the exposed bolts allow for rings smaller than 50-34, combined with the 11-34 cassette means there is hope Campy will cater to gravel.

In the Netherlands VAT on consumergoods like this is 21%

real world weights are shocking. ultegra weight/ugly/pricy. how i wish they go back to their roots and introduce a modern version of 1980's C Record instead of this crap.

That's where I was getting the prices up above - no cranks though or BB Cus or Batteries and I'm not sure about V4 interface but I think that is included - that's where I was guestimating 3,200 Euro ex-vat

Doesnt look like the interface is included in there.. probably because of the external/internal option

After the first two rides I really like the Campa group (12 speed disc). Especially the right thumb with its ability to shift multiple gears at once is very useful. I just have a small issue, maybe someone can relate to this: the right shifter touches the brake lever after shifting, so it does not automatically go back to the default position. The brake levers are relatively close to my hands (not max though), but it seems a bit weird :/

Thanks for your help,
Daniel

For EPSv4, has anybody seen any information on appearance, pricing and availability for the internal bar module/interface? I haven't yet seen any photos or specific information on it.

It's supposed to be available in May - about 10% less than external.

Thanks. Guess I'm going to have to wait a few more months then and suffer (not) with mechanical 12 speed, which is really growing on me, but got to have a totally clean cockpit.

Its a bit more to go internal because you need the DTI and then you pick your wiring kit which is an additional piece to the DTI...

The traditional external EPS v4 12 control unit is $187/190€ with the cables attached. If you are looking to use the new internal setup, that v4 control unit will sell for $172/175€, and will require either a separate wiring kit for handlebar installation ($138/140€) or frame installation ($96/97€).

The Campa support could help me, there is a 1,5mm inbus screw hidden at the shift lever. Using this, one can also adjust the shift lever. I am surprised that with my medium sized hands I drive the brake leavers now at minimum distance to the handle bars...
