Nope, wrong! 12 speed SR EPS will be launched at Giro d'Italia 2019 - means May/June 2019.wintershade wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 6:04 pmI think 12 speed SR EPS will be available soon. It was offered to me for a custom build due to me in Feb. As cool as it would have been to be one of the first people to have it on a bike, I'm going mechanical because I prefer the feel -- for the same reason I special order all my sports cars with a manual transmission despite Porsche PDK and BMW DCT offering superior on-paper performance.

^You sent me googling there. Never got the lyrics of that Greenedge song you see.
Santa Sucks????? There's your problem. Old school letters and bad mouthing the Man. He's watching you know.
Santa has given me so much under the tree that the family members won't. I got a SR11 EPS system one year. My wife asked 'Who got that for you?' Santa of course and I did not have to return it too.
Santa is the Man.
I'm willing to bet that Christmas 2019, I'll have a SR12 EPS under the tree. Wanna bet?

The new 12-speed EPS wont be wireless. Just one more gear. Just the same like the mechanical 11-speed and die EPS 11-speed we have today.
The good thing is - and that's the main reason I stay with Campy - the Power2max 11-speed powermeter can still be used. It just needs to change the 12-speed chair rings only. It will be availible soon (Campagnolo tested it over the last 6 months and it seems to be working).
Also nice - as we already now - you still can use your 11-speed wheel sets with the new 12-speed cassettes.
Shimano wont bring up 12-speed in 2019. I was told that they may came out with a 13-speed group set in 2020.
Shimano is already working on a 1 x 13 speed group set. So, that will be a complete new design and nothing will be compatible with older parts.

Wireless will be available between 2020 and 2022 if what I read in other media is correct
You are right Butcher, I don’t know what I was thinking. It’s not like the family is even going to know what anything on that list even means let alone where to get it. But Santa knows all. He is The Man. Santa, I’m sorry for ever doubting you. The chimney is clear.Butcher wrote:Santa Sucks????? There's your problem. Old school letters and bad mouthing the Man. He's watching you know.
