New EPS has been projected for NOV18. However, it's more a wait and see. Imagry has not even been provided to companies looking to spec it yet.
What projection? Announcement date, you meant? Or the date Campy will begin shipping it to distributors?

Seeing how Campy USA told me "Arriving Jan 2019" Id assume that it would hit the Euro market by November... the Mechanical 12 spd stuff wasn't in North America until almost June/July and it was announced in April..

If EPS 12 is not going to go wireless at the very least i'd hope they will create a loom like the 9150 which allows you to charge from a handlebar end plug or the frame provision. I can live with hidden cables and the brain.

Problem is Shimano has patented their arrangements for cabling so likely precludes Campag from offering frame or bar end ports

Im guessing we'll see something at the Vuelta... if it is in fact a November announcement/release thats only a few mnths out... you'd think Campy would want some hardcore testing done in race conditions, RR season is ending soon... there's nothing to hide like they did with Mechanical 12, everyone knows EPS 12 is around the corner.

Bummer. The control module looks identical to v3.

Why not using new brake calipers?

No bummer. If there's a remote possibility that 12 EPS will be compatible with the V3 battery and interface then I'll upgrade from 11 EPS. But if not, then for me it ain't worth the effort of pulling an almost new bike apart, and maybe fubaring a low mileage Ceramic Speed bb in the process, so I'll be be sticking with 11 EPS until 12 speed Etap comes out.

Using 11-calipers is probably an attempt on camouflage.

Pulling bike apart! How about the cost associated with it! If EPS 12 will work with the EPS 11 power/interface, then I see Campy doing a great move! As for most the upgrade wont be as bad... But if one would have to rely on a similar setup as on EPS 11 (with exposed bulky interface), then I see many people (including myslef) not goint through the hassle and expense!

Agree and also for cost savings. These guys are probably testing the shifting mechanisms, they are not testing the brakes, which wont change for EPS. This is not an advertisement campaing either.

There are new codes for 12 speed EPS, so V3 power unit & interface aren’t likely to be cross compatible.
