Hey guys!I plan to buy this frame FUJI transonic SL!I have some question if you can help me!I want to make a light bike some of the components i already have but i need some suggestion!
I plan to go for sram force with sram red crankset!
Wheels fulcrum racing zero!
Tyres GP 4000 s2 Continental!
Handlebar easton ec90!
I need some direct mount brake calipers can i go for shimano's with sram levers it will work?If not what other not so expensive but also kind of light you recommend?
BB-what shell can i fit in there(check the pictures) for the sram crank?
What light headset should i go for?(Headset FSA, 1 1/8" upper - 1 1/2" lower, integrated w/ carbon top cover)
Any light stem? i should choose!?

What carbon have you got C5, C10 or C15?
I've got an 2017 SL, and the BB is PF30. My bike came with a Praxis to GXP converter. If I were buying again I'd get a Hambini. https://www.hambini.com/bike-parts/hamb ... acket.html
Definitely go with Jagwire Elite Link outers and their best cables.
I use SRAM Force with Shimano 105 5800 brakes, work fine, but they aren't direct mount. I'm thinking of upgrading mine to EE or Dura Ace. Personally I dislike SRAM brakes, but love their drivetrains.
Kalloy Uno Stem.
If it were me I'd get clip-on TT bars as I ride on my own mostly.
sub 220 gram cf seat post and a fizik arione 00

What should i choose after crank system:BB386/BB30(90mm)(am i right here?)
Bottom Bracket Shell:"?????????????????"(what option)
sorry i never changed BB just crankset, and cables.I used jagwire and i wasnt quite so impressed with the quality, had not felt any bug difference!
seems uno steam its pretty light.
I don't right alone so i dont know if i will ever go for TT bars.I'm just thinking of going in triathlons maybe.
I dont feel comfortable on any fizik.I will go for smp and i have to try some prologo saddles that i never had time to try to see if they fits around 200gr.
CF seatpost? Can you tell me more info about this?
About the BB and cranks there are three basic modern crank spindles.flostonf00 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 4:02 pmI have the C10 carbon.Lewn777 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 1:52 pmWhat carbon have you got C5, C10 or C15?

1. Shimano
2. SRAM GXP
3. BB386/BB30 (90mm)
You can use either the SRAM GXP or BB386/BB30 (90mm). But you need to decide which as there are two different spindles and therefore two different versions of the SRAM red crankset (I'd always choose GXP, heavier but more reliable and less creak IMHO).
Then there are a bunch of different frame shells BB30, PF30, BB Bright. AS far as I'm aware yours is PF30. BB30 and PF30 are the same size.
So you want to run SRAM red cranks? I'm not an expert so double check everything I'm telling you.
There are two ways...
1. Is to put in a PF30 BB and press it into the frame and run it with the BB386/BB30 version of the cranks. This might creak like a b*tch though.
2. Buy a converter BB like a Praxis PF30 to GXP. https://praxiscycles.com/product/conv-bb-sram-gxp-road/ and buy the GXP version of the cranks.
What would I do? number 2.
Buy a Hambini BB (link above) PF30 to 68mm GXP or maybe a Praxis BB (same as the complete bike comes with). Then I'd buy a SRAM Red DZero power meter for it. https://www.sram.com/sram/road/products ... q1vtbt2u62 Kill two birds with one stone, if you need a power meter you'd be getting one of the best in the business (Quarq), and then you are saving the money you would have saved on a regular RED then needing a different power meter. I'd get it in 110BCD and put after-market 34-50 Praxis rings on it or 36-53 if lived somewhere flat.
CF seatpost. Sorry I just meant any carbon fiber seatpost. Richey seem to make light ones.
Kinda joking about the Fizik, just because that's what I'm saving for.
