Hey WWs

Found this on "ebay" where I live and I'm thinking of replacing my 8+5 alloy topcap and carbon spacer with this full carbon cone shaped one.

Are these weights any good? These are cheap items but if they don't beat the alloy ones there's not much point buying.

I'm considering the 15mm one.

Delrin plastic would be close to half the weight. Look at the Extralite spacers.

3d printed custom height spacer/top caps with a hollow cavity could be pretty light.

They look like bearing covers and integrated spacers rather than just spacers.

You could get a low profile cover e.g. Veloflyte/STS then add the lightest spacers you can find. The point ones were superlight, they changed their name but can't remember what to just now. Bear in mind they taper in at the mid point, so if you need to use more than 1 it might look weird. I have a 5mm one kicking around @ about 1.3g.

The Tune magnesium and Extralite would be the next lightest I reckon. I have a a Tune one kicking around somewhere. The smallest one is 2/3mm and only 0.7g. Good if you want to run a spacer above the stem.
