I've just got a seqlite cassette and need a new chain. YBN when shortened will be around 200 grams and KMC would be around 220 grams. Which will shift better?

YBN is gonna be really expensive. Try a PYC SP1101. Mine's 211g at 108 links. If you're on a compact or have a smaller frame than a 58, it'll probably be even lighter (about 2g per link). Best thing is that it's steel unlike the lightest YBN, and cheaper than both options.
Saying that, I do like the gold ni treated KMCs a lot - 110 links was 222g IIRC.

Cheers @4ibanez. Just ordered a PYC SP1101 on eBay. £15 cheaper than a kmc. Should get it mid wwek.
Do PYC make 10 speed chains? They're very light for the money, but I've only been able to find 11 speed ones.
Answering my own question here. My google skills clearly weren't up to it the last time I searched but it seems they (PYC) make all sorts of chains, all easily found on ebay. Here's a 10 speed one for reference.
Sorry for resurrecting a 5 month old thread, but how has the chain been, what was the weight for how many links.campagowlo wrote: ↑Sun Mar 11, 2018 12:56 pmCheers @4ibanez. Just ordered a PYC SP1101 on eBay. £15 cheaper than a kmc. Should get it mid wwek.
Just that I'm looking at getting one myself.
Cheers.

PYC SP1101 cut for a 12-27 cassette weighed 208 grams. Im very pleased with it.
My PYC SP1101 is 215.5 grams cut
The quick link that came with it was really easy to take apart after about 500 miles. It was so loose that it started making noise while riding. I replaced it with a KMC missing link and the chain is still going strong with around 1000 miles on it.
