Resurrecting this post... Does anyone know if these new shifters might fit the 8070 levers?

From the compatibility chart I can't discern if it is compatible or not:

Take a look at the new Hydraulic Disc Brake/Dual Control Lever (Di2) dealer manual for R9200/R8100. These are brand new, introduced with the R8100/9200 series components and you will see that the Di2 connector is the smaller form factor which is not backwards compatible.
