I'M building bikes with Alligator Mini Ilinks shift housings and want to install barrel adjusters.
Main reasons for the Ilinks are the weight savings but also the housing is "supple".
The bikes handlebars will change position often between TT and "normal road" position, and the expected housing bends will be challenging at the least (standard stem 7-10° VS adjustable stem at 45° and narrow 36cm compact handlebars).
I want to add barrel adjusters to be able to easily adjust the gear changes when on the bike.
Anyone has mounted this sort of combo ? What type of barrel adjusters work best with the Alligator housing ends? I guess you guys also have to cut the liner in two parts then...

I don't think it is a bad idea, esp for what you are describing. yes, you would need to cut the liners.
