Having owned a De Rosa Protos AKA the beast for a number of years. I'm now thinking about trading it in for a Colnago C60. Any thoughts?

There's a thing called the C64, maybe it's been mentioned on the forum.

If he can get his hands on a new C60 in his size and colour, it might be worth while since its nearly half the price of a C64. C64 is better in some regards but for nearly £2000 difference, you could get some nice components....thats a nice SR EPS or eTap with spare cash, nice wheels, clothing, events....etc etc

Yeah, I'm fully aware of the C64, but it doesn't float my boat. Personally, I much prefer the c60 :-)

I’m with you on that one- c64 is balls compared to the c60. The $ saving is a bonus.

and why not a c59 while you are at it? a touch more comfortable, a touch more alive. c60 is a very solid bike.

I have previously owned a c59.

Nothing wrong with the Protos. Just fancied a change !
