I'm looking at purchasing a Focus Izalco Race 105 as a new second bike to replace my 9 year old CAAD9:

https://www.focus-bikes.com/gb_en/42846 ... e-105.html

Does anyone happen to know whether the 25mm tyres it is supplied with are the biggest it can take? Would 28mm tyres have sufficient clearance?

I cannot find this info anywhere online and past experience tells me I'll get a more accurate respond on here than from a distributor/dealer...

Also, does anyone happen to know the crank length, stem length and bar width supplied with the Large (57cm) bike? Also does not appear to be listed anywhere!

If no one knows I will try a dealer and post the response on here if I get one.

Many thanks,

KH

From what I have read elsewhere, it seems that the Izalco Race is the same frame as the previous Cayo model. If that's the case on my Cayo I have HED Belgium + with 25c Vittoria Corsa and there is roughly 6mm clearance at the rear, 5mm at the front.

Thanks; that's really helpful. Your username brings back memories of watching Mogwai at Glastonbury 1999!

Yes, I've been a fan of them for many years. One of the best live bands I've ever seen!
