PowerCordz on M5 Side pull brakes

Hi to all you experts out there ! I am trying to install a set of M5 side pull brakes with synthetic powercordz cables. From the design of the brakes there is no way to "loop and tie a knot" as the powercordzs instructions state. Would anyone who has m5 brakes let me know how you've mounted your powercordz? I can tighten the set screws from both sides. It seems pretty secure. Maybe tie a knot on the end?

PowerCordz are a little thinner than standard steel brake cables. Can you loop it up from below and feed it through the hole on the M5 a second time? Is the only thing securing the cable the pointy end of the grub screw? I don’t think PowerCordz respond well to pointy things poking into them to secure them.

I’m using PowerCordz on EE Brakes but those have a flat plate to spread clamping loads.

...from my experience with powercordz, if the description of the m5 clamp is correct then i would not use them with these brakes - i'd think the rotating clamping screws could cut/shear the outer casing and go on to abrade the inner fibres, powercordz are strong in tension, but they are far softer than steel cables

I guess I will go to a stainless cable on this bike. What are your thoughts on the Aican or Shimano?
