where to buy microshift 11 speed 11-28 cassettes
Moderator: robbosmans
The microshift 11-28 11 speed cassettes seems to have to best ratios for me.
11-28T: 11-12-13-14-15-16-17-19-21-24-28
16 T included and no 19-22 jump

The problem is that I can't seem to buy them anywhere.
does someone know a place where to buy them?

Is it just me but are the smaller sprockets nice and wide at the splines? No more chewed freehubs on training wheels?

You can build any ratio you want with Miche cassettes.

I have a miche primato 11 speed casette on my campagnolo freehub.
Shifting is a little bit slower than chorus cassette bt the perfect ratios make up for it.
But loose cogs tend to bite into shimano freehubs hence the question for microshift cassette

I have miche sprockets for 11 speed. I also have the 34t sprockets.
I also have the microshift cassette or can get them.
Miche sprockets dont in my personal experience bite into alloy freehub. I am not a take rider either. I do my Lockrings up very tight though.
Edit my bloody phone is useless at letting me type properly.

Why not build a 12-28 from an Ultegra 12-25 and 11-28? I get the missing 16 instead if an 11 that is mostly useless in normal riding. I can spin a 52-12 to 45 or so going downhill and since I would have hit 60 to beat my age, I just tuck and coast.

12-28 already available in Dura-ace but expensive. I still want (50x)11. Tailwind in the group can send me close to those speed.steelbikerider wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2018 3:47 amWhy not build a 12-28 from an Ultegra 12-25 and 11-28? (guess you are replying to person that want 12-34 or 12-32)
I don't see Sram offer anything start with 12 in 11 speed yet. they encourage downsizing chainring and keep 11 on the cassette.
I also find Microshift's cog spacing sound more reasonable than Sram. Just never have a chance to try it.
When anyone try them, please comment on shift quality and noise.
Thank you.
Shift quality will probably be comparatively bad with this microshift because it seems it has quite a deep arch in the line between smallest and the largest cog.
I don't have any proof but my gut tells me the shifting in the middle/low could be a bit poor. That's where the space between the upper pulley to the cogs will be large.
I would still buy the cassette because I like to have the gears I need but I'd not expect amazing shifting.
