Well this ad aired a little early. Confirmation on name and another colorway we haven’t seen yet. Clicking on the ad leads to a blank page on Cannondale’s site.

I love my SystemSix and will never get rid of it but finding love for this new frame is hard.... It looks as if somebody from Trek came to work for Cannondale and integrated Treks front end....At least Trek has integrated brakes for those who dont like disc.....

This deactivated Power2Max business makes zero sense to me. Why would Cannondale permit a customer to pay not-Cannondale at a later date rather than just include everything up front? Why would P2M want to sell the hardware at a steep discount with no guarantee of additional revenue?
^ why does a drug dealer give someone a free hit? Get them hooked.
From P2M's perspective, it's a chance to generate volume to drive down unit cost in a very competitive market, with the hope of capturing $ on the back end. The people that buy these bikes are likely to be 1) affluent 2) goal oriented. Not saying their strategy will work out, but it might.

KISS imo. They should have just sold Cannondale activated units at a slight discount rather than selling inactive ones at a major one.
