The Giant seems to be quite good.
tour mag aero test 2018

can you post the results. i don't understand why tour mag does not post them. they can get additional web hit traffic vs waiting for someone to post snapshots from the results

Because they're a subscription magazine and posting screen shots is effectively stealing? It's like €3, you all should really pay for it to support them otherwise they won't be able to do these independent tests and you'll be left with only sponsor approved content...
€3/month? Is it in English? Looking at their site, it's all in German.
You can normally buy a single issue through their website for €3 or so. It's no longer published in English but Google translate does a decent job and it's the numbers we're mostly looking for.

I paid for a year's subscription just to have them canned the English version after 3 issues...

well i was a loyal subscriber to tour mag international english version. after they cancelled it. the english app stopped working on newer versions of iOs. did tour mag fix nooo. so i lost all my old issues.
i am not paying more money until they release english version.

lmao they actually stole from me by not refunding me after canning the English Version after I bought a whole year's subscription (i only received 3 issues)
Did they jiggle the bikes now that we’re talking transient aero? I want jiggling and spun pedaling dummy full scale tests with all possible wheel tire combinations rotating on frame. Will settle for pedaling dummy with control wheel with a mounted water bottle and a control standard non-aero bike with aero handlebars and a water bottle.

Well to be fair those are averages, in the individual categories the bikes differ quite some. Ridley is the slowest at 213W/45km/h, SystemSix fastest at 203, meanwhile Madone scores 1.0 (out of 5) on comfort with the S5 at the other end at 3.7. Buy the magazine through their app if you want details, they're one of the few actors who do quantifiable testing.
The Madone scoring as the least comfortable bike seems bizarre and contrary to the experience of the people I know with the bike and the design.andreas wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 5:37 pmWell to be fair those are averages, in the individual categories the bikes differ quite some. I'm assuming that that means that the Madone was the most comfortable and the S5 was the least comfortable.
