Hey guys,

My mechanic just called me to say my campy red brake pads are not compatible with my new Cane Creek brake calipers. Is that true? My wheels are Bora Ultra 50 AC3 Clinchers. Thanks!

That is correct, EE brakes come with Shimano/SRAM pad holders

So no problem, just get the red Campy pads that fit the Shimano Pad holders. I believe it’s Campy part number BR500X instead of just BR500 (for the pads to fit the Campy holders).

Possibly +1 on the new mechanic. If he ordered the parts then yes, if you gave him everything than no.
