I have to agree, it's looks bloody awful. A blind man might be pleased to see it.

It’s hard to imagine how they got that so wrong.

.... I’d like one where the lugs weren’t a different colour to the tubes.....
and this.

Personally I'd like to see a C64 equivilant of the C60 RSCG. I'm not saying I'd buy it, but I'd like to see it

But I probably would.

Art Decor white (BFWH) is an all gloss paint job, so there is one available. Art decor blue (BFBL) has the same design but with a matt/satin finish.

Or did you mean just one solid colour in gloss?

I don't think the purple backdrop helps.

No idea who painted it.

And i really prefered C60 over Specialissima for example.. But if i need to chose Specialissima or C64, definetely Specialissima (at least more lighter, and alloy inserts in dropouts)
I’m hoping 3Pio or someone else can go over why they prefer C60>Specialissima>C64. I’m pretty new but was able to ride a C60 58S and a C64 56S. Both were great but the 58S with 120 stem fit my 6’3” frame better. With time I could probably go 130 stem and lower the stack. I haven’t been able to test ride the Specialissima, and while I do love the Celeste color I’m hyper aware that it will draw attention to how much of a newb I am.

The main thing I’m wondering is if the Specialissima would be as smooth as the C60. I tested an Infinito with countervail and the Colnagos were just at another level (as they should be price wise). The secondary thing I’m wondering is if a black c60 or Celeste specialissima is more pretentious.

Beautiful bike!

Has anybody received or seen in person a C64c disc with internal routings?

A few pages back there’s some photos of the Private Collection disc bike which has internal cable routing through the stem

Dudes, here's my first "issue" with the c64. I want to move a bit the seat post but even removing the bolt of the seatclamp I can't move at all the post....

Any tips?

Yes. It needs a decent whack underneath the saddle. Loosen it right off and then smack it upwards to dislodge the wedge. It'll feel like you're going too hard but it'll suddenly free up.

Yes. I usually put a towel or something under the base of the saddle so my lady-hands don't get hurt when they hit the back of the rails. Hit the saddle rather than the seatpost, upwards motion.

I wonder if a thin layer of something like Morgan Blue Aquaproof paste applied to the surfaces where the wedge slides against the steel surfaces in the frame might help a bit here. It would certainly help prevent any corrosion etc from happening. Just make sure you don’t put any on the surfaces where the seatpost and the wedge actually contact each other. This is something I would for sure do if I owned a C64. Or even a bit of grease if you don’t have the Aquaproof Paste.
