To me it deserves Campy Super Record mechanical! That would be modern(SR Campy) but also retro (mech).
3T over Deda etc....

Modern groupset definitely. Although I would probably opt for the older 5-arm crank.
If it was me, i'd probably do a chrome finishing kit though.

Modern groupset (Chorus or better), chrome finishing kit and shallow wheels with tan wall tires would be my choice.

I don't see the point to building up a classic era frame featuring chromed elements like you might a sleek cutting edge modern carbon composite frame.

For sure, go with a contemporary 11sp. gruppo, however, keep it alloy/silver, stem as narrow as possible, shallow rims with polished spokes and hubs shod with gumwall tyres.

I hated the 4 arm crank when it first came out but it has grown on me.

I'd go modern chorus or greater.

Congrats. I just bought a 1984 Master!

Good choice on the SR Mech. 5 arm or 4 arm?

Id go for a black finishing kit, the brown in the vid looks strange.

So are you going with that same quill adaptor/shim setup in the video?
