Moots RSL....changes from year to year ?

Does anyone know if there is a running list of changes from the model years from 2012 - 2017 RSL ?

The reason I ask is that I am considering a 2012 model, but don't want to miss out on important 'weight savings' or other things that have been implemented since.

I've search Google extensively and come up with very little info on the topic.

I have a 2015 Vamoot RSL. It has the PF30 bottom bracket and 44mm head tube. This was the "stock" build.

You might call or email Moots. They are very quick to respond and always happy to help.

What's the price of the bike? That will be the biggest changeable factor.

Its a 2012 model year which I think I can pick up for $2200...perhaps $2000 cash.

I'll give them a shout....

Thanks

Here is the response from Moots...just posting for anyone that has an interest. Moots states on their website, that they do very few changes from year to year....if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Hi there,

We have gone with a bigger diameter headtube, tapered fork, and we started shaping the chainstays in house, along with the new options we have.

Let me know if you have any more questions!

I believe the larger head tubes (44mm) were introduced as an option in 2012 and are now standard.
The taped forks were introduced in 2016.

You can also give Kayla the serial number and she can get you the original spec sheet.

This is my 2012 VAMOOTS RSL...

the tubes are sent to Reynolds to be internally butted... I think they still do this...

What is new is the 44mm headtube, the Fork, headbadge options and logos in the frame...

The frame didn't change...Image

Subtle but interesting difference between the in-house shaped chainstays and the former design. The non-Moots chainstays are visually beefier and, um, more sensually complex.

I have a 2014 RSL.
