That doesn't look too bad? I guess the question is what effect the stock rim with a 17mm inner width will have on the tire profile compared to these wide 20mm+ inner Rovals?

Built my TCR frameset only. I don't know and won't buy that Giant wheelset sorry. Good luck finding your answer.

I just got a TCR Adv SL 0 disc... and I fit the GP4000 28mm on th stock wheels... they work but only has 2mm at most clearance for the fork. The rear is better. The tire measure at least 31mm.
It is just too tight...especially the height of the tire, sometime the tire picked up some debris and will rub against the inside top of the fork.
I switched to 28mm Michelin Pro 4 Endurance instead and it measured 27.5 on the rims and plenty good clearance.
I’m wondering if anybody has try the new GP5000 28’s??

Will soon be checking this combination with GP5000.
According to https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.co ... comparison and https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.co ... i-23-25-28
there's a substantial difference between the 28mm GP4000 and the 28mm GP5000.
Both on a 17mm rim, at 100psi:
Width GP4000: 31mm
Width GP5000: 28.5mm
Height GP4000: 29mm
Height GP5000: 26mm

Have a 2017 TCR Advanced 2 rim brake with Fulcrum Racing Zero C17. Just switched from 25c GP4000 Sii to 28c GP5000. Could barely tell the difference and went back to my GP5000's box to make sure they actually sent me the 28c, and yes it is the 28c .
