What kind of QR skewers are you using on these bikes, if I may ask?

Looking at the new Madone and seeing that green colour reminds me the Celeste colour of Bianchi

This is probably part of the CMYK series by a lazy designer...

I actually like this colour  but I couldn't imagine having a bike in this color if it is not a Bianchi :|
(Because of that color I suppose that I may one day get a Bianchi myself actually)

If a Madone for me either black or red.

In 2013 the race bikes by Trek already had this colour. It look so wrong for me, but still like those unconventional colour styles.

Ok, saddlerail height and saddle height depands on the saddle itself. I am riding Specialized Toupe Pro saddle which might be more flat than the bontrager.

As I mentioned above, saddle height is 81cm and saddlerail height with an Specialized Toupe Pro is 77cm.

If your saddle height is 81cm you probably should be on a 58cm frame. Mine is 78.5 and im having to buy the longer seatpost as the standard one only goes up to 76.5.

Are you running the weird riser bars on the venge? Theyre probably the difference in headtube length between the 56 and the 58

No, I am running the Vision Metron 5d on my Venge Vias Disc.

I am also waiting for some build up of the new Madone Disc in size 56 and of course size 58 to get an idea how it looks like. I am not in a hurry, because the road season lasts until mid of september, then cyclocross race season starts and training is a bit different.

This is probably a lazy comment by some one on a forum.

This colour has been part of Trek's range for a few years. It's the bike of the Trek Drops cycling team.

I doubt they're the exact same colour though.

A few years back the Trek team had a similar colour, can't remember it properly but it was really nice.

Celeste has been many hues over the years. It’s even a different hue on the Specialissima vs the Oltre XR4.

I have been messing with this at my leisure over the last week and it is coming together. However the measurements that Trek provides for housing length prior to running through bar/stem are about 60mm too long. Not a huge deal to trim but a bit disappointing. Mechanical shifting on this bike is a bad idea. Shouldn't even be an option. Image

@Wheelbuilder: is the new Madone that much different to set up than last years model. I have one sitting in front of me deciding if I even want to deal with it. At first I agreed to the build providing we could do Campy 12 mechanical. But in good conscience, I can’t recommend mechanical for any of these frames where acute internal bends are required. So I suppose it will be Di2.
