So the top-tube splits into the seatstays with two struts on either side attaching to the seat-tube. The IsoSpeed dolphin-wiener slider assembly slides through that opening over the struts to the hinged seatmast. Interesting.

Trek is all in with the adjustable iso speed. Many will cry “gimmick”. I see zero evidence of front IsoSpeed. That looks like a shapely headset bearing cap. I’m not sure sprinters would want IsoSpeed up front on their aero bikes unless there was an effective lockout system. When I played with Sagan’s P-R winning Roubaix at Specializef HQ, the lockout dial didn’t actually lock the FutureShock out...
