Stick with SRAM chainrings ?
Praxis or Extralite rings ok?

Building an etap build .. done but would like to use my THM cranks and was wondering if there are any hang ups or issues I can avoid.

Any rings.
Lighter x stiff = win.

I have the SE's on my C60 and initially tried using the Extralite's but couldn't get the rings to bite when shifting to the big ring. The Praxis, while heavier, are stiffer and have given me no issues.

I have the SE crank and agree that the praxis are far better at shifting over the Extralite rings i have on now. Only went for the Extralite as they look better and lighter.

I guess I'll stay with Praxis which is on on the cranks now... was wondering about extralite...but I'll stick with good shifting.

thanks all

That's the consensus too, extralite is lighter but praxis is on par for shifting with oem rings.

I have a set of Extralite Octaramp RC2 chainrings on my Hi Mod and I must be in the minority because they shift fine for me. I’ve read reviews from 4/5 years back saying the shifting was very bad but seems to have improved with the versions on sale now.

You're not in the minority on that.
I've also found the KCNC K3 Cobweb to shift fine and not have flex issues that others reported.

To each their own.

dropped about 75g compared to eTap crank/BB setup. Using the praxis rings (not buzz).. so far the shifting seems legit on the stand. Adjusted to no grinding on the extremities so I'm happy. Lower screw is pretty far out, but not touching the cranks.

I went with the buzz rings on my clavicula cranks and have had zero shifting issues in over 5000 miles.

Only 75g saved?!

My SRAM Red compact 50x34 crank came in at 569g. My Kogel BB86 PF BB is another 91g. Grand crank system total = 660g.

If true it's only a weight savings of ~75g, my wallet thanks you kindly!

Maybe my rings are heavy... or the bolts for the spider (KCNC).. if I add up the weights with the newer Praxis BUZZ rings, I should be over 120g saved. The THM BB weighs the same as your Kogel. I was in a hurry but it was not over 100g.

I'm thinking I should get those now... they look better then my older praxis rings anyways.

The sram on the THM clavicula SE crank is strange. Praxis or Extra Lights are appropriate.
