I have a friend tha switch from a s-w sl5 to sl6 and he is very disapointed, he says the new tarmac is verry unconfortable, not a good climber and in fast acelleration, is slower than the sl5, he is going to sell the bike.
Curious ... since you have both the SL5 and SL6 handy, could you measure the head tube length on both?tguillaume wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2017 6:15 pmHi,
i have the 2 bikes, 1 SL5 and the new one SL6
I cannot answer yet because outside there is no good weather (snow or rain...)
What can i say it is about the weight :
Tarmac S-Works SL5 size 56 with full Dura-Ace 9000 (mechanic) and Fulcrum Wheels Speed 40C weight 7,15 kg
Tarmac S-Works SL6 size 56 with full Dura-Ace 9150 (Di2) and Fulcrum Wheels Speed 40C weight 6,85 kg
My 2 bikes have the same stem (S-Works 100mm), handle bars (Specialized Expert Alloy 420mm), crakset 172,5mm with 50/34, Selle Italia SLR Titanium, Garmin Sensors (2) and the K-Edge for the Garmin Edge 1000 !
Fork length changes from the SL5 to the SL6 so head tube length won't tell the whole story FYI.hack wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 11:24 pmCurious ... since you have both the SL5 and SL6 handy, could you measure the head tube length on both?tguillaume wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2017 6:15 pmHi,
