It was a guy here at WW which claimed the tubes for C60 where made in Asia, where the other models were made.
I have no clue it it's true, but if it is, they glue these tubes to lugs and paint it in Italy.
I wouldn't deem that as "all Italian made" as the Italian made Cipollini.
It would be very interesting to actually see the raw Pinarello frames, Pinarello (Italy) receives before they do what they do with them.

I like the approach Ax Lightness have/ had, "in house".
Or most custom made framesets.

Off topic but yes C-60 is Toray 1000.

nothing from CF then is EU made.... no one is making fiber here... ( making is NOT weaving ; just for Time fan-club ;) )

AFAIK tubes for C60 are made in Italy.

According to an industry insider here in China nearly all raw frames are actually made in China and sent to Taiwan for paint and assembly only these days then badged 'Made in Taiwan'. I can tell you that the factories are very secure, word about what is going on in a guarded secret. Same tricks for 'Made in Italy', I'd be VERY sceptical about any bike's claimed production location unless you've seen carbon layup being done with your own eyes. Think about it...follow the money - labor costs and emission rules.

Most frame's production locations probably being China doesn't really matter, it's the quality of manufacture that's important. I think some of the problems with Canyon could be that they might be trying to go it alone in China, with European and local Chinese management. In China you need a very high level of management ability which is why skilled and experienced Taiwanese management works so well in China. Shared culture and language, a very effective means for accurate manufacture. Many low paid and poorly educated workers that need to be very effectively trained and micro-managed. For this reason I think that Merida/Specialized or Giant/Trek (and whoever they manufacture for) are going to have a much more accurately finished product and QC.

I could be wrong but I'd bet that Pinarello's and Colnago C60's raw frames are made in China, painted in Taiwan and assembled in Italy. I'm happy to be wrong about that, but you'd really need to prove it, because these companies are businesses and their reason to exist is to make money, so they'll always do the cheapest thing as long as they don't think quality will suffer.

I don´t know about any specific Canyon quality problems (with road bikes, i can recall they used to have some issues with some full suspension bikes with cracks, but that was a design mistake, not manufacturing)..they consistently receive best reviews from reputable magazines even in comparative tests with other best bikes in category. They scan all their carbon frames for proper manufacturing so QC is probably there..

if you have money, you can buy a new one and send this one back...this way you don´t end with no bike for a certain time...

Actually they do CT scan only on carbon forks. But most of the brands don't even do that.
There was already discussion here about Canyon and Trek common roots in China: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=146106&start=75

Good discussion about source of manufacturing. I just got the new iPhone and... it’s made on China!

OP, just return the bike if you are uncertain about it. Easy. Canyon has no questions asked return policy. Otherwise if they say it’s good to go and you don’t want to return it then Enjoy!

I'm waiting to see what Canyon Germany says. I love the bike, just want to know if my frame is off or not. If its not, I'll just run 38mm and move on.

Good grief. Like 2 responses that may possibly be helpful for you and then a bunch of arguing about manufacturing and if Canyon is a quality brand. I'll try to be more helpful.

I have read in multiple places that the Endurace is listed for up to a 33c tire.
When you start pushing over what they spec a 1-2mm difference in clearance between one side to the other causes issues.
I have multiple bikes including MTB and CX that when pushing over the spec one side of the tire is closer and on all of them it is the drive side. Wheels are dished correctly.

I would say that you should go down to a 33c tire and you'll be fine.
I have a 40c tire in the rear of my Santa Cruz Stigmata and it just barely fits and I ride it on gravel roads and some CX dry races but never anything where mud can get kicked up. Maybe 2mm of clearance on each side. That bike is spec'ed for a 38c max width on the rear.
You can possibly get away with a 35c tire if you make sure you're not on roads where gravel can get kicked up or stick to the tire and damage your chain stays.
I would be looking for at least 3mm on dry riding and 4-5mm or more each side if it might be wet with something sticking to the tire.

Hope that helps and I would love to see some photos of how these sizes of tires fit in the frame. Looking to buy an Endurace in January.

Well, i know the weave is made in Asia, but what i reacted on is that the tubes also were made in Asia.
If so, the bike is only put together in Italy.
I didn't speculate on quality as i think it doesn't really matter.

However framesets could be cheaper if made in Asia, or part made.
But i guess sponsor expenses need to be paid.

Just think if Time had as many sizes as Colnago, that would surely be a blast.
Btw, don't you like Time?
