Does someone have experience with the Smud bottle cage?
claimed weight: 5-5.5g

I'm wondering how it prevents a bottle from just sliding down (until it is stopped by a tube).

This is prevented by the Tacx bottles (as quite some others, too) which are slightly oval shaped at the bottom.

I have 2 of these laying around (Tune ofc) in case you are interested btw. Shipping from Belgium

My Smud cages worked well with tapered bottles, Camebak insulated and had them for 4year. They got busted up when a car decided to hit me back in August. Highly recommended provided you can get thru to Piotr.

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately I'm using a specific type of bottle (for reasons which aren't relevant here), so I cannot use this really light bottle cage.

I have one or two, if anyone wants to buy them. I liked them, but now use different bottles and the cages are just collecting dust in the garage.
