I agreed with AJS914's words due to the fact that it is a 16 year old bike.
It was sold on ebay but it has since expired. The seller placed a "best offer", but it was for buyers only within USA.
I spoke to him and since I'm not from the US, he said that he will only sell if I were to pay his buy it now price which would be close to 2k USD excluding shipping. (not to mention that the cost of shipping a full bike from US to Singapore is quite high).
This was what prompted me to start the thread and ask for opinions from others whether it was really worth such an amount.
