Thanks for the replies. Re. braking into corners - only 3 of the 20 required braking for my previous PR. Is the general consensus that any ebay or similar offerings from the China (some listed at 960g) will be death traps and/or very low stiffness and thus be a step back from 1300g Enves? And as for the world champs - it was my KOM on that hill that they took. Wasn't anything special so they smashed it! But being 3km at 10% with 20+ hairpins there must be decent value in using hills of similar length/Av, grade/'sinuosity' during training?

Corima MCC 47mm S+ tubs are pretty much the stiffest wheels you can get and are below 1200g. Excellent choice for hill climbs, less so for fast flats.
