I know Specialized claims otherwise (Rim is 733g and Disc is 800g), but don't the two reports posted so far indicate the disc frames are actually much lighter?

And for that matter, even they are likely to be heavier versions...

Can't believe you guys are giving up on this bike because you can't get a frame that is maybe a few grams lighter. The rim brake guys have showed that even the UL's aren't meeting the claimed weight. The paint jobs on the disc frame are just as awesome as the rim brake frames, love the mint and blue camo bikes. The bland black and silver is the last color combo I'd pick.

But to each his own.

I’m having mine built right now by bespoke cycling which is due to be delivered on Friday. Honestly guys it’s a complete different beast in real life, pics really don’t do it justice. I initially ordered an ultra light variant and as has been discussed previously, it turned out to be the one with silver outline on the black frame. After seeing it in person, I decided that I’ll Stick to it!
Will post a few pics of the build so far.

appearance is 100% subjective. You won't be able to convince people to buy paisley color bikes that prefer a stealth looking blacked out bike. Totally 2 different perspectives that are important to people.

If one is paying the price that these bikes cost you definitely don't want to settle you want what you were willing to pay for.....even if you wanted something that is 50 grams less in weight.

I really like the black with holgram outline. I've seen both for the complete bikes in person and I'd say that neither of them look as good in pictures as they do in person. I'd be heard pressed to make a decision.

To be honest, even the non S-Works models are pretty impressive. A few weeks ago, my local shop had a kit launch party and they had a couple of the Pro and Expert modles on display in addition to the S-Works bikes. The oil slick pro model is really nice and we were all debating what the expert model weighed with the mechanical ultegra groupset. They pulled the bike down and weighed it and it was only 16.5 pounds, full built. Everyone was betting 17+ pounds with those stock, boat anchor wheels. with some decent carbon rims, that bike is sub 16 pounds with an Ultegra groupset.

The pics may not do it justice as you say, but it looks awesome!!! I didn't like the holographic outline logo at first but it's starting to grow on me.

Looks awesome! Are those the 3.4 Disc wheels by Enve? Exactly the same wheels and frame I ordered. Have the wheels but need to wait till mid April for the frame.
Was debating swapping the Enve stem for the S-Works one, but decided against it. These pictures have changed my mind :)

The handle bars are the Aerofly?

I also have an Absolute Black elliptic small chain ring (34), wonder if that will be compatible with the S-works crank/powermeter setup. Does anybody know?

Those looks like ENVE SES 5.6 Disc. Too deep to be a 3.4 Disc.

Interested to know about the Absolute Black oval chain ring compatibility to spider base powermeter as well.

So sounds like it would be hard to get to UCI minimum with bike sizes most men ride.

Thanks, the wheels are enve 5.6 disc with Chris king hubs and the handle bars are indeed s works aerofly.
I was debating between these and the enve ses aero bars but found the cables being better integrated with the aerofly bars.
As for the stem, I heard and read a lot of good things about how well it can reduce road vibrations etc but honestly speaking I just bought it purely for the looks initially 🙈
Good luck with your build, share it with us when it’s ready!
