As much as I hate to do it, This bike is up for sale, Tip to Tail, parts or complete if anyone is interested. I decided to go in another direction after my foray into disc brakes.

No more discs, thinking Campy this time.

Wondering how many people are considering moving to the new Roubauix after the latest release? I am sure this means yet another update to the already great Tarmac SL6.

Curious, how come the move away from discs? Just stripped my rim S5 to sell it and not sure which way I’ll go next..

Specialized updates bikes every 3 years, so you can expect without a doubt that the Tarmac will be updated next summer, probably see a bike or two under a rider in the Dauphine with a big announcement just before the TDF where all team members will be on the new bike, except for maybe Sagan or the sprinters which will be on Venge for the fast/sprint races.

Why? It's not that much faster. It's heavier than the tarmac. The stack is still very high. They serves quite different purpose imo.

To be honest all of the Specialized range is converging heavily. It’s still all different bikes, but the current generation of their road offering is comprised of much more similar bikes than the previous one.

Yes.

Too much moving parts around with the future shock added plus you're already have the disc. I feel road bikes have gotten a bit too complicated like a MTB. This feels like a full sus MTB with all the bells and whistles you can ask.

If it was any clue that they're offering that pro fit frame...

Plus not all of us live in the Roubaix area or anywhere where there's cobblestones. The Tarmac would be the more less complicated, practical choice.

It’s all a feel preference, nothing more.

Does someone has a detail photo of the white/silver Tarmac with Sram etap? I’m wondering if it has sparkles or just plain white paint.

Just search #tarmacsl6 or #tarmacsl6disc or #sworkstarmac on instagram. Plenty of photos.
