I'm not sure what's worse: Seeing the bike in the pro peleton and Spesh not telling us about it, or telling us about it, then not having it available for 6 months.

Ford does the same BS with new vehicles. They'll show something awesome at a car show and not have it in showrooms for another 15 months when all the hype is gone.

At least with cars, they are dealing with massive volume, a lot more assembly, more suppliers, hundreds of thousands of cars per year for their most popular models. They also have to set up fleet sales and other major purchase orders. The bike industry has a lot less overhead to deal with.

Really crazy to see that all manufacturers have their disc version available for purchase (BMC, Canyon, etc...) except Specialized (and Bianchi)

Just got word that there will be limited S-Works bike and frame availability come April, and that they will fit 32c tires on wide rims.

A 28mm Conti GP4000 is not far away on a wide rim

I've 28mm Open Corsa G+ on 21mm internal rims on my SL5 with no issues, measuring 30.9mm.

Like the SL6 UL with 730g weight....

More likely 32mm measured, not 32c

32c is great, can run from 25-32c depending in course and road conditions. Makes sense.

This is what I heard from our rep, who saw the bike recently and is rarely wrong on the details. Maybe 32c measured. 32 Roubaix tires on 20mm internal rims grazes the fork on the Roubaix with a little dirt on the tire, but they clear the rear no problem and measure 34mm.

We'll hopefully find out sooner than later.

I suppose the Marketing of Specialized wants everybody to get exited about the Tarmac disc!

Maybe they did not figure out that many just want to buy one now...

I just realized that the cable routing on that bike doesn't match up with the rim brake bike. I wonder if its preproduction or if the cable stops are going to be similar to the SL5.

Color changing orange? you mean the torch edition from the olympics a couple years back?
Sorry I had to double check, it's not orange. It's listed as "chameleon cyan"
There was a SL5 frame color that went by that name, should be similar.

The ultralight paint job will also be available for the disc version, and a regular weight matte black with white lettering.

Has anyone heard any rumors about the Tarmac Pro disc or is it just S-Works level bikes that will be released?
