There she is!

Nice !

What does she weigh? Details etc :noidea:
Size 54 Frameset (I'm at 177cm, saddle height is 77,3cm, so short torso, long legs)
Shimano 8070 groupset (52/36-170mm-11/30)
Fizik cryaano R1 snake bars in 400mm
fizik cryano R1 stem 110mm
My S-works Power in 143mm wasnt available, so my LBS gave me another s-works saddle for a few weeks.
Look Keo blade pedals and supercaz tape.

I haven't had it on the scales yet, but feels fast and is incredibly stiff.

Hello all,
My build project, red/yellow SL6 Tarmac Disc frameset, size 54. So far:
Frame with pressed in BB bottom bracket & bearings, derailleur hanger, and bottlecage bolts 930 grams (do not have a bb press)
Fork, un-cut stirrer tube 380 grams (a lot to cut off as Sples provides a long stirrer tube, does not fit in photo)
Project build includes SRAM eTap shifting and HRD brakes, Roval CLX32 wheels, recycling my Conti- 4000S II TDF special edition tires since they only have a few hundred miles on them with Vittoria latex tubes.

I'll post final pic's and weight once done in a few day and then some thoughts on the ride versus my current Focus Cayo Evo.
Cheers.

Just contacted dealer regarding the direct mount hanger, apparently no stock from Speciaized yet. Anticipated availablity q1 2019.
These are now in stock, also below is a compatibility doc for that part number, will post images when mine arrives sometime next week.

The annoying thing with this new hanger is that the only thing stopping it from fitting the ViAS is this little lip

Yeah, that’s the plan. It’s just a time poor issue now.

Mine will be :

Stem: standard Sworks stem
Seatpost: standard seatpost
bar: Aerofly II : 44 cm
saddle: sworks power arc elaston
Groupset: sram Red etap 11v hydro wifli
Crankset: Quarq dzero red - 52/36
casette: red 11/32
Wheels: CL50 (clx were out of budget) fitted with turbo cotton

Hi,

another long time lurker here.
Got mine 2019 S-Works Tarmac Disc size 58 (satin black/black reflective).
Complete bike just as specified by Specialized.
Weight 6,7kg (no pedals,... )
7.0kg w Dura-ace R9100 pedals, Tune wasserträger bottlecage, Garmin mount & Garmin Speed sensor.

Will most likely go for shorter 100mm stem + more narrow 400mm bar, but will decide after some more km on the bike.

Stoked & waiting for the spring :D

]Welcome Kabu & Heado

Looks like we're finally gathering some more S-Works Tarmac Discs! After doing the first 250km in the flatter parts of Germany I took my bike to Switzerland and had some problems with shifting to the slowest gear and took it to a local mechanic in Zurich. That also gave me an opportunity to finally get it on the scale and here we go:
7,4kg incl. pedals, bottle cage and my wahoo mount.

My Target is to get the bike's weight under 7kg, but I don't want to spent another fortune in doing so. Adding some lightweight or Latex tubes is likely to save 100g, a SRAM XG-1190 in 11-28 would save another 100g over the Ultegra 11-30 casette. Maybe some Look Keos with ti-spindles would save 50 gramms, but at 200€, i think there are more cost efficient weight savings. Do you guys have recommendations, i.e. thru-axles?

Here's my Tarmac Disc. I've not ridden it yet as I'm waiting for the weather here in the UK to brighten up a bit.

Excuse the rubbish photo. I'll take more when I get the chance and put the full spec online. I have weighed pretty much everything and will share shortly.

As far as the weight and looks go, I'm very pleased. I could shave off a bit more with some Dura Ace upgrades, but it's good for now.

Weight, as pictured without pedals, is 6.4kg

Sounds very light. Mine has CLX32’s and SWorks chainset and at 7.2kg complete. Albeit in a 58cm.

Could the weight differences between sizes be greater on the disc versions because of the extra material required to counter the disc braking forces?

I am debating whether I should buy a complete Tarmac Pro disc in size 54 as I can get one for £5.2k (or, but it’s a bit of a different question, build a Venge S Works with DA Di2, CLX50 for £6.8k).

What’s the finished weight of the Pro assuming I buy some nice / fancy Look pedals?

I understand the main differences (vs the Tarmac S Works) are:

1) wheels. CL va CLX. Not sure I will notice the difference?
2) handlebar (alu): this can be swapped later on. Does the alu handlebar make the ride harsh?
3) no ceramic bearings / lesser carbon used for the frame
4) Powermeter: doesn’t matter as I have a Quarq.
5) DA vs Ultegra Di2

I will put some tubeless so tyres don’t matter.
