?? 6.36kg both (and 14.02 lbs compared to 14.12 lbs)?

You know, I actually liked the style of the old Tarmac. But this new one... I just can’t even begin to like it. To me it looks some guy had two old school rigid mountain bikes sitting around, his own, and his 6 y/o kid’s. The kids bike had a broken front end and his had a broken rear end, so he took ‘em both down to the local welder and said “cut ‘em up and put the kids rear end on mine, paint it and call it good”.

The numbers are fishy to me considering what I know of the Tarmac Disc frameset weights and what it took for me to get my Emonda Disc down to 6.65kg. Those bars, stems, saddles are all heavier as well.

It's like the picture I quoted by CrankAddictsRich, no way that bike is under 14 lbs.

My local shop just built up a custom SL6 disc for a customer that wanted it completely bare carbon. They took off all of the graphics... Red Etap, with Enve parts, etc. I think the only stock remaining parts are seatpost and crank. 13.3 pounds.

What components were missing from this picture? :noidea:
I guess everything is lighter in NJ  :smartass:
My friend had his Tarmac built up by Fairwheel and it was 15 even Picture Here. I haven't bothered weighing mine but I wouldn't be surprised if it were 7kg. Maybe someone from this thread can send me theirs so I can claim mine is low 14s

Can anyonone pls help me with the (annoying) bottom bracket question. Which diameters and width has the Tarmac Disc SL6?

I have a Quarq Red Dzero GXP and I am planning to install this into a SL6 Disc frame.

Do I need this BB:
https://www.c-bear.com/en/products/bott ... 1-sram-gxp
Diameter 46 mm, width 61 mm - OSBB "standard"

Or do I need this BB:
https://www.c-bear.com/en/products/bott ... 0-sram-gxp
Diameter 46 mm, width 46 mm - PF30

There are a lot of confusing articles and also some posts which tell some different things so I pls need your help.
Thank you

^ S-Works SL6 bottom bracket is a normal BB30 bottom bracket so you need a converter BB30 -> GXP.

You may want this as the bearings are native GxP 22mm that doesn't require the stepdown shim.

^^^ Typically, S-Works models come with two clamps that are suitable for both round rails and carbon 7x9 rails.

Yes I have both with my bike.. If you don't have the other... Ask your shop. Would/should of been in the box.
