Like most research.. You can tailor a test for the numbers you want. For normal humans the numbers means jack shit... For most pros they don't care.

So end of the day if they sell a few more discs. That's about it. They are just great bikes..

Greetings from Finland! I just completed my first full build ever and here is the build list with some of the weights:

Frame: S-Works Tarmac disc SL6 56cm black (867g with bottle cage bolts)
Fork (uncut) 369g
Seatpost without clamps: 118g (saddle clamp 58g, seatpost clamp 21g)
Crankset: Sram Red Quarq DZero GXP 172,5m (549g)
Chainrings: Praxis Buzz 50/34 (132g)
Groupset: Sram Red eTap HRD
Brake rotors: Sram Centerline X 160mm (118g)/140mm (103g)
Bottom Bracket: Praxis Works M24/SRAM GXP conversion BB (144g)
Handlebar: Enve SES Aero road 40cm
Stem: Enve road 120mm
Computer mount: Enve mount
Saddle: S-Works Romin evo (129g)
Bar tape: Lizard Skins DSP 2.5mm
Cassette: Ultegra 11-28 (244g)
Chain: Dura-Ace
Tires: Schwalbe Pro One 28mm (277g/283g + 30ml sealant / tire)
Wheels: DT Swiss ER 1600 db 32mm (around 1800g with tubeless tape)
Pedals: Dura-Ace R9100 (236g)
Bottle cages: Elite Vico carbon (23g each)
Thru-Axles with quick release lever: 53g / 63g (aero thru-axles 33g/35g)

Total weight with pedals and bottle cages: 7,70kg

I have ordered Roval CLX 50 clincher wheelset for my main wheelset and DT Swisses will act as a spare set. I should get those around end of June/early July. Cassette for Rovals will most likely be Sram XG-1190 so I guess that the total weight savings with Rovals, Sram cassette and Schwalbe Pro One 25mm in front should be around 400g. With lighter tires and aero thru-axles the total weight could be around 7,1kg.

I haven’t been able to ride yet because of flu but will ride within few days. My previous bike was Venge Expert 2012 and it is fun to see if there is that much difference between bikes

I guess Specialized has broken silence on non-S-Works Tarmac Discs. No real details...seems the bikes will start around $2500-3000 and feature round seatposts.

Anyone knows which BB from ceramic speed I must buy for the Shimano crankset?
- BB30 Shimano Road
- PF30 OSBB Shimano Road

If I look at the bikes from quick-step then I see adapters that looks more like the BB30 adapters then the PF30 adapters

Any idea if they'll do the black with white colourway for the disc version?

Why would you hope someone else couldn't get a colour of bicycle they wanted :)

Not very gentlemanly

Also not my taste....but it seems that the plain carbon is somehow popular. It reminds me of the generic Chinese frames on Aliexpress.

But I would be keen to know how many people are buying which colours in the Tarmac range. Although the choice is quite limited between black and crazy colours....
