Specialized usually labels their different spec levels within a specific model as follows base, sport, elite, comp, expert, pro, s-works... with base representing the lowest spec model and s-works being the highest spec model. The specifics for each model differ but generally speaking, a "comp" is usually a 105 level bike, "expert" is usually Ultegra mechanical and "Pro" is usually Ultegra Di2 or sometimes Dura-ace mechanical (although I haven't seen that in a while). The different models usually have different specs of carbon fiber as well, with lower end models using a lower grade of carbon, either 8R or 9R, going up to 10R or 11R or 12R in the highest end of the range. The lower grade carbon means they have to use more layers to aceive the same desired stifness, which results in a heavier frame. The peripheral components also change as well, from low end, aluminum axis wheels up to roval cl and then finally clx carbon wheels... same thing goes for seatposts, bars, etc.

What components were missing from this picture?CrankAddictsRich wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 9:40 pmMy local shop just built up a custom SL6 disc for a customer that wanted it completely bare carbon. They took off all of the graphics... Red Etap, with Enve parts, etc. I think the only stock remaining parts are seatpost and crank. 13.3 pounds.
