I already have a DZero GXP on my current bike (S2)...less than 1 year old...am thinking about my next bike and the Venge is high on the list.

Given Specialized's normal product release schedule, I'd guess there will be a new SL(7?) at the 2020 TDF and released as a 2021 model.
Thanks a lot, I am not too familiar with Specialized’s product release cycle (coming from Cervelo). So next year (2019 calendar year) is only a paint job? I am in the market for a new bike and will not be able to wait 2 full years from now...CrankAddictsRich wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 10:04 pmGiven Specialized's normal product release schedule, I'd guess there will be a new SL(7?) at the 2020 TDF and released as a 2021 model.

Correct... the 2019 bikes are already out at this point. They usually announce/release new model year bikes and updated paint jobs in late August/early September, but major releases are almost always tied to some big race or event... i.e. when they update the Tarmac it is almost always announced released around the TDF. You can usually find prtotype test bikes under 1 or 2 riders at the Dauphine and then all of the teams have the new bikes for the TDF. The current model SL6 came out at the 2017 TDF and was released as a 2018 bike.parajba wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 10:17 pmThanks a lot, I am not too familiar with Specialized’s product release cycle (coming from Cervelo). I think they do with Full bikes with Shimano cranksets.
I've had a Rim brake SL6 and there were no adapters.

Noob here. Just picked up ‘19 Tarmac Disc Expert - 7.53 kg (16.6#) 49cm, bone stock! Still have to remove the plastic cassette disc. Upgrades will be E100 bars and EC70 Stem. Jury still out on the stock toupe saddle. Seemed hard for my bones on initial rides, I’ll give it a hundred or two and make a decision on upgrading to the lightest version as I like the idea of soft tissue cutout (coming from fizik Antares 00). C38 Carbon clinchers is my first carbon set, so far so good. Annoying that it comes with alloy bars.

Yeah I felt like the camo (matte finish) would hold up really well to micro abrasions as opposed to the glossy chameleon job! Plus it’s a head turner, S-Works frame also offered in this scheme. That world champ job is really something! Slight vintage vibe - but very appealing!

No need for additional blingy anodized accents with this paint scheme. Hope to put it on a strict carbon diet really soon! Plus my likes and dislikes video coming soon!

Looks good! congrats on the new ride. It's got that skunkworks feel with the shapes.
That world champ frame is an extra $1000 cdn premium over the s-works disc frames. I think only 200 worldwide.
