According to GCN and Shimano it's NOT backwards comparable with 6800.
Big mistake in my eyes. After the debarkle with the 6800 cranks snapping, I (along with many others) would like to upgrade.
Anyone tried it to prove Shim wrong???

Yo do realize there are plenty of topics on this already and that there are plenty of users doing the mix and match without issue. 0.4 is less than half a turn on a limit screw.
