Colnago C60's bb options AND spec opinion
Moderator: robbosmans
Another C60 thread, sorry.
About to buy a 48S C60 frame and just debating on whether to go Campagnolo Potenza or Ultegra 8000.
Potenza and 8000 are the same price here.
The bb is the main question I have. The C60 is a 86.5x41 right??
If I went Campagnolo, I just use their 'default' Power Torque Outboard Bottom Bracket Cups - BB86 / 86.5 X 41
If I went Shimano Ultegra, what do I need, just their basic pressfit 86x41?
Would Enduro bb be more reliable?
thanks
Here's the frame colour too
edited: Didn't want to make a new thread on this so figured I ask on here
I do have a budget for this and was thinking of putting the following on a C60 frameset?
Wheels: Campagnolo Zonda if I go Potenza or Chorus
Fulcrum Racing 3 if I go Ultegra 8000
Saddle: transfer from old bike
Handlebar and stem....no carbon, any idea, any suggestion?

Looks like Power Torque to me. They call it Power Torque +
The first versions yes, but didn't campagnolo state when they announced the centaur group that they would make both the centaur chainset and potenza chainset in ultra torque.

That's Chorus you've quoted not Potenza. According to their website Potenza is Power Torque.

Another question, the steerer tube/fork will need to be cut.
How much 'exposed' tube can there be above the stem?
I've seen builds where the stem is flush with the tube and also tube that are 10mm above the stem.

It depends on your needs. I like to have a small 3mm spacer above the stem.
