1) Yes, I'll second this. CicliCorsa (http://ciclicorsa.com/en/) are really excellent (and the Stelbel frames they sell are not bad either ).

Bikeonline.it (http://bikeonline.it/en/) (Davide posts here on WW) also sell WR, and are also very reliable. I have ordered WR and other components from both CicliCorsa and bikeonline.it, and in all cases the orders were shipped promptly and safely from Italy to USA. No problems at all (but I communicated in Italian always). CicliCorsa are much larger than bikeonline.it, I think, but both are good.

The third ITA shop that sells WR Compositi online is Clemenzo (http://clemenzo.com/) but I have never ordered from them.

I think that in both cases these shops order from WR Compositi, and then ship to the customer, rather than shipping from their own stock. This is why one can specify various WR Compositi finishes, etc.

2) I have had quite a few WR Compositi components (bars, stems, seatposts, cages) over the years, both pre- and post- the new website. I have never had a single problem with any of their components, and I am a Clyde. Also, fwiw Dario Pegoretti used to spec them on his builds (I think that when WR Compositi went on hiatus for awhile he switched to Fizik). I like their products (Fizik and Deda too).

I have one on my 2011 Pegoretti. Pegorettis then used an odd size post 29mm I think. WR is the only company still making that size. I am on my second post because the first cracked but I think that was more to do with a LBS mechanic over tightening the collar. Newer Pegs use a standard size seat post but an odd size headset.

Could be possible I got three times bad luck (the cracks) on one bad batch of WR pieces. See the attached pictures and relate to the following regarding WR.

Bought from WR :

- ST1 Alpha stem
- RM08 Alpha handlebar
- WRC Alpha seat-post
- S1 Alpha Saddle
- WRB bottle cages (2)

The bike was (i) initially put together by Epoca's main mechanic, (ii) later adjusted by an ex-pro racer and later pro mechanic (worked for pro teams in the USA), and (iii) finally minor adjustments made by me. Of course, I can attest to my mechanic quality, knowledge and use of proper tools. My mechanic greased all screws upon arrival of the bike before first use and checked all screws on stem were at 4 to 4.5 nm (specified limit on written on handlebar is 5 nm). After a few rides I adjusted a bit the angle, put extra carbon grease and tighten to 4.5 nm and only one screw went to 5 nm (as my mechanic later told me he found them).

Note I use a high-quality torque wrench. I weight 64 kgs.

The S1 Saddle was given as a gift to a 54 Kgs ex pro-ridder with over 11 bikes. He has saddles from AX Lightness, Tune, to a few other carbon ones, as well as usage of Schmolke and Clavicula pieces, amongst others. He works alone on his bikes = he knows what he is doing.

That said:

- The saddle lasted 1 (one) ride on a Cerveló RCA. Immediately sent by courier to WR. They were a-holes on their answer to Epoca saying it was miss-use!
- The handlebar started showing fracture where the stem attaches at two months usage (around 1,500 kms with tons of vertical meters = torque on my hands…?).
- After replacement arrived (Deda Superleggera) I had the handlebar removed and more cracks showed!
- WR said not to even bother sending the handlbar as they would not replace. The saddle already sent and received by them they said they would not replace!

The above may not translate to all users of WR products. I still ride on their seat-post and use their bottle cages. Insofar working fine (water bottle cages are beautiful and hold the bottle quite well).

I ordered all my parts from Ciclicorsa and Andrea was great to deal with communication. He was prompt, provided thoughtful advice and everything turned out great. I was so satisfied with the way the cockpit turned out, I followed up with some matching WR wheels, which have also been fantastic.

It's quite possible others have had alternative experiences, but as I said previously WR has been a positive addition to my bikes.
