Have Colnago done away with the inner metal sleeve in the C60 BB?

Got a C60 this March that has the full BB sleeve, if that's worth anything

It was tricky to photograph and looks much worse than it does here. There was also overspray on the black carbon. There are dents, runs, sagging etc. Anyway they admitted it was all wrong and not up to standard but it's taken 3.5 months. Looking inside the tube the repair doesn't inspire confidence either. I also had to change colour scheme or wait until October.

What do you mean when you say looking inside the top tube doesn't inspire confidence either? I'm very interested in this whole affair. You say they admitted the job wasn't up to snuff. So, are they doing it over then? May as well get what you want, even if it takes till October.
Ouch, missed the first pic showing the edge of the headtube at the cups. Yes, that's not nice looking at all, even if it is functionally repaired. So what's the next step.

Does it have a charging hole?

No, there isn't a charging hole on mine. Now I know what those plastic bungs they put in the box are for

Ouch. My warrantied frame hopefully will arrive before 4th August (when Colnago goes on holiday) and I still don't know if it's a repair or total replacement. But this one doesn't really inspire confidence.

When I bought my C60 mhcf end of last year the dealer said there was the option to have mechanical or a dual use frame. So if yours is mechanical only then it won't have a charging hole. There's normally a hole underneath the downtube lug at the bottom bracket marked up as charging plug and another just below and slightly in front of the front mech hanger on the seat tube. That's what the rubber bungs are for. If you don't have both of those holes then it's a mechanical frame only.

Since few months now Colnago stopped making the hole for the EPS V2 charging port on all C60 frames.
Because the EPS V3 does not require this they will not make the hole anymore unless you specifically ask them to do it

Also all Concept and V2-R frames are without any hole for the charging port

@Nestornnk: So what's the deal with the BB the Original Poster showed in this thread? Two sleeves, one on each side of the shell... would like to know a bit more about the new design/process.

Received my C60 last week. Full steel BB shell and charging point below BB. I should add when I placed my order I was told they had my frame size in stock and it just needed painting. There is nothing to tell when my frame was actually assembled and it could have been quite a while.

Hi
I do not have full information why they changed their design but now they will be 2 separate black alloy cups and not a full alloy sleeve.
Hopefully i will have more detailed info when i visit them again in September

Wilwil that shot of the bottom bracket looks like shodiest pierce of carbon work i have seen on this site. I can't believe you guys are paying a premium for that kind of work over an asian frame. I would be concerned about the quality of the work you can't see.

The others will look like this under the metal sleeve. Too f**king late now!
