Just ordered a pair of these in 42cmx100mm. Given the reach is 93mm, I think that’s going to be about right as compared to the 120mm stem and 75mm reach Deda RHM setup I’d have normally had. Or maybe I’m just justifying going shorter since that’s all they had left after I procrastinated..

The reach on the bars is printed as 85mm but the site does state 92mm. I've emailed Trek to clarify but no one seems to know.

Hmm, well, to my naked eyes, the reach looks pretty dang long, especially combined with eTap levers..
Will see how it all comes together I guess.

Came from feed backs few years back when it was part of their "world lightest stock bike". Remember discussing the topic with a French journalist then a dealer in the western side of France.
Can also note that it's not part of their 12k$ slr9 Emonda, when the aero combo is part of the top level madones.
I wish we had lab-test to confirm and compare to a schmolke-mckf setup type.
One could object that on the Vuelta Contador had it installed and unless he looked to save weight when balancing the bike on the climbs, he could use any bar and still be at 6.8kg.
Now saying "almost too stiff", means you never tried a stiff combo or never pull "hard" on the bar. It is perfectly ok depending on you style (and likely my case since I don't race), but a 230g combo won't ever be super stiff (in absolute).
Now if it compares to a berk combo or any other lightweight combo... that may be worth price wise.

Can decals be removed with acetone?
Minimum bike categories required in the stable:
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike
these are very nice for the weight but it's a shame that it only comes in -7 degrees

No, you'll need to sand them off, as the decals are under the clear coat.
