My current setup is on a Giant Propel Advanced 1 (2016);

Ultegra 6800 52/36 chainring
Ultegra 6800 11-28 cassette

both @4500 km. My new Sram eTap will arrive next week and its also time to change the current chain on my bike (KMC -11L).

Now what I wonder is which chain? will it be better to use a Sram Red 11 chain? or as the drivetrain is Shimano, to stick with a Dura-Ace 11 speed chain (with a "different brand" powerlink because I can't find new shimano quicklink around or online)

I am not looking for a KMC cause I found it very noisy or maybe a better KMC sound less.

If you're worried just get a shimano chain. Apart from the etap you're running a shimano drivetrain so why not shimano? Jockey wheels are plastic anyway, no noise there.

I don't have any of these parts but this is what I would do in your shoes if I wanted to try a different brand than kmc. x11l vs x11sl is almost identical, I wouldnt expect any noticeable difference other than weight.
