Hi All,
I have a 2016 Scott Addict with what I assume is a BB 86.
I currently have an Ultegra crankset but if I was to switch to another company such as Sram would I need GXP or BB30 cranks.
Also would I need a different bottom bracket.
Any measurements and information would be awesome

For the Scott's, you will need the SRAM PF GXP 86.

Without going into a long explanation - yes, if you wish to use a SRAM crankset. And a GXP BB to go with the frame.
There's sometimes a buggy.
How many drivers does a buggy have?

One.

Thankyou, so what is the difference in shimano spindles and sram gxp spindles?

Shimano is 24 mm.

Gxp is 24 mm on one end and 22 on the other (it's tapered).

Well actually it's stepped, not tapered.

The NDS bearing has a nominal 22 mm bore and the step on the spindle butts up to it. When the spindle bolt it tightened a lip on the crank contacts the inner race, clamping onto the bearing, thereby holding the spindle laterally.
There's sometimes a buggy.
