Please tell me where did you manage to find one of these?
I've been desperate to find one of these for my Slate 105!
I have a Sugino OX601 46/30 9 speed crankset on an older CX bike and I swear by the set up.
You only really lose the top most ratio compared to bike running a 50/34 - 50-12 is a near enough 46-11.
Cheers and thanks!

For that matter, the current White Industries VBC cranks will let you have super low gears while keeping a road Q factor. They now have a 30mm spindle option if your bike won't work with square taper.RussellS wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2018 8:48 pmOdd I never replied in this thread before since the question being asked applies directly to my setup. Way back in 2007 when I rode PBP, I wanted a road bike with low enough gears to get over the hills/mountains going out to Brest. They use a slightly different route back so you miss the steep long hill on the outbound route. I had a Litespeed Tuscany frame with 10 speed Campagnolo. 12-29 cassette. I used a White Industries triple crankset with 46-30 rings. White triple cranks used 94mm bcd for the outer and middle rings. 25 years ago 94mm bcd was the mountain bike size rings. The inner ring used separate removable spacers. The spacers were not molded, formed into the crank itself, like they are today on most/all triples. So by not putting on the inner ring and spacers, the crankset was identical to a double crank with 94mm bcd. Square taper crankset. I used a 103mm Shimano square taper. Maybe Dura Ace. TA and Stronglight both make 30 tooth rings in 94mm bcd. Stronglight also makes a 29 tooth ring in 94mm bcd. I used 46-30 rings and 12-29 cassette ten speed on PBP. Today I use 48-40 rings from TA and a 12-23 cassette. No climbing around home. But in less than an hour I could have it setup for mountain climbing with 46-29 rings and 12-29 cassette. I have a medium or long cage rear derailleur on the bike. Can't remember exactly which model, Record, Chorus, Centaur, Athena, Veloce. Record carbon 10 speed shifters. Clamp on front derailleur of some Campagnolo model I think.
This chainset comes with 50/34:

But they have matching 46/30 chainrings which I bought separately:
