Hi all,

I purchased a new matte black Protone earlier this year and after washing it recently (using soap and water per the instructions) I noticed that the matte black finish has started "flaking" off in places, leaving those areas looking a bit rough and less "matte". Anyone experienced a similar problem or know of a solution to address this?

Thanks in advance.

I emailed Kask Italy about the stickers flacking off. No response.

Good luck.

you can probably touch up those areas with Testor's Matte Black hobby spray paint. i bought some and did some touch up on my Parlee and it was almost perfect.

the matte paint is more forgiving than glossy...so as long as its close to black, you should be good. you would think that the paint would last a season or two.
