That seatpost! I know the pros are going to the straight up saddle forward and pointed down look. But no thanks. I like saddles set back and all the way back on the rails. Back, back, back.

Is it me or this is not the regular Enve SES Aero handlebar model... the one with the crazy flare?

itsacarr wrote:While their is a fair bit of gobbledygook marketing thrown in around this new paint - the end result is impressive. I have had some lovely paint jobs that have added a solid 200 grams. So this is pretty nifty if it ever trickles down versus a 300 dollar vapor coat add on :)

i'd only expected this hyperbolic marketing wank from specialized....

All that technology and they still ended up putting the junction box under the saddle instead of a bar-end one...

Because probably Enve obbligate (= cash) them to use their handlebar plugs while Shimano doesn't mind much (= no money).

Here! Here! That slammed back look is bad ass. Reminds me of the 90's with Lemond's setup.

Looks incredible. Technically a marvel too. Hard to fathom!

See if you paint stripped an aero frame, would it be less aero?

What's up with that seatpost? It looks ugly and less aero than a "normal" aero post. Is it supposed to flex more?

Yeah, it’s for flex. It’s on all the production S-series bikes now.

It’s not quite as nice looking, but It’s functionally way better than the circular friction fit clamp on the old style posts. Saddles stay at the same angle you set them up as now :P
