Question for those w/ Scott Addicts
Moderator: robbosmans
I have a Scott Issue Team Edition with the Di2 holes. It can take a braze-on derailleur which, for Di2, usually involves a small metal plate for the rotation angle screw to protect the frame.
However, on the Scott there seems to be a metallic colored section. Is this a replacement for the plate? Or do I put the plate on here?

You should be fine without the specific di2 plate, but my lbs advised me, for the pease of mind, to use the alu support plate nevertheless.

If there is room to squeeze the adhesive support plate in there without adversely affecting the tail angle of the derailleur, use it.

So when do we get to see your new Addict?!
I've been waiting for almost 4wks now.
Sounds like the build is almost done.
The suspense is killing me!

It's coming along, albeit slowly!
Being a recent college graduate, budget was tight but the deal on the frame was too good to pass up ($1500) so it'll take some time to get it around a weight I'm happy with.

I never bothered...
