Looks like the 2018 Tarmac, which also looks a little bit like the BMC or Canyon etc...
At the moment there are many frame which just looks quite similar. Not easy to reinvent the wheel sometimes....

They already have xr4 and xr3...they didn't seem to need another aero bike for their range in my opinion, by they think otherwise, and who am I to disagree? It's better for us, the consumers at least, more options to have is always better! :D

Thought the XR3 was suppose to be the budget aero? Maybe this is the penny-pinching budget option seeing as its decked-out with the revised centaur gruppo

The blurb appears to give the target market as budget tri/multi use.

IMO it looks like a reacto/tmr.

Will there be a disc version of the XR3 or Aria?

Nice but I agree that it looks similar to anything else nowadays. the most 'special' Bianchi is still the XR series.

First impression was super positive, thought it was Bianchi taking on the Allez Sprint market, which I'm keen on. But maybe it doesn't handle like that. Bit confused about it to be honest. Do like that it's easy to set up for TT events. Wish I could clip something on to my S5 bars and TT on it occasionally, but I'd have to change the bars, take the shifters off, bar tape etc. Just can't be arsed. Shame as Blips are so easy to install on TT extensions these days.

Thinking about it, aren't all bikes with round bars easy to TT with. Just clip something on? Or are Bianchi claiming that it's the combination of the aero frame and geometry that makes this special?

Also does it come in black 8)

For the record, Bianchi's Aquila CV is probably my favourite looking TT frame, next to the Bolide. Just wish there was some data on how aero it was compared to the P5 etc.

It doesn't talk about Countervail so I assume it has none. It seems to be a cheap way of getting into triathlon, so not suitable for roadies :)

Basically it is a BMC TMR01 cheapend and painted celeste imo

I have the same issue with my handlebars so I am going with a stem mount aero bar, there are a few out there like the Profile Lightning Stryke aero bar, now I have to find a saddle that will work in both my road and aero position.

See here on Ebay ......

@KarlC That's perfect! Amazing idea, why does it seem discontinued? Is there any other stem mounted option like it around?

@Shrike - I think there may be others like this but they are rare, I got my used Profile Lightning Stryke aero bar set up for $40 on Ebay.

This just gets more and more boring. Most bikes start looking same same, just different logos.
Bikes:

Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.
