I've recently bought a pair of Zipp 404 Firecrest Carbon Clinchers and are struggling to find a Shimano cassette lockring removal tool that fits the Zipp hub. My original one was too thick to fit over the axle and in the lockring so went to my LBS and bought a Birzman tool but same problem. The rear hub is a Zipp 177 hub.

Can anyone advise what they use? The metal of the tool needs to be quite thin to fit.

Thanks.

Abbey must have one that fits. I have their lockring tool and absolutely love it.

Abbey will be the last lockring tool you ever need. I have the double sided one and it is a work of art. Fits over a skewer so definitely will clear the hub end.

Thank you for the replies. Looks like the Abbey tool is the one.
