Would you prefer the Emonda over the tarmac or Endurance? if yes, why?

I think Trek Domane disc is more practical as endurance and rain bike. Having 32mm tire clearance is a bliss.

I don't ride cobblestones or gravel etc...so that I don't really want this suspension like in the Trek Domane or in the Specialized Roubaix. Road bike geometry, 25 mm tires, disc brakes and fenders make for me the perfect rain bike.

Lots of stuff just went up on the dealer site. New entry-level Madone coming, too.

will be interesting how the Bont Aeolus *PRO* 3 differs from the BA 3 and what price point / model they bring them in at. If you already have lightweight wheels they would make a good "take of and self" part.

I have a feeling the SLR disc frameset weight will be very impressive.

If Trek have managed to knock 50g of the old SLR frameset, I wouldn't be surprised if the disc version weights the same as the old SLR.

My understanding is that there will be an Aeolus Comp wheelset (rebadged Bontrager Aura's) and the Pro wheelset. There's also a 40mm carbon clincher which will replace the Vision wheels currently used between the Aeolus and Aura's.

the new PRO version of aeolus tld d3 will be about 100gm heavier. tubeless compatible with 19mm internal width 27 external. cheaper hubs. price is a killer at 1200USD. will make 2nd rate companies BOYD,WILLIAMS,CURVE lower there prices.
