Thanks for your info. So I'd definitely not go with U5 vapor coat.

While I'm still interested in other color scheme (transparent black + carbon fiber is my stuff), I'd just go with the Trek Segafredo team color, especially since it's so affordable...

The trouble with ordering a team colour is that it'll be different for the 2018 season. The current scheme does look lovely though.

The problem with the other Project One themes is they're mostly bad/boring and cost a minimum of $500. The Trek-Segafredo paint doesn't cost extra and as you said it looks good.

Also helps that the team has TREK in the name and just a classic plain red with white decals design.. anything else would get dated/obsolete in a hurry

I have mine in white with gold trek logo. Plain with a classic edge.

Looks great! I like a white trek, and the gold is a nice touch. What size is it? I'm guessing 60cm H2?

Nothing you can do about that (trust me, I ride a 60H2). The bike looks great!

I just received a 2018 SLR frameset today. 680g with chainkeeper, derailleur hanger and fittings installed, regular paint.

56 H2. I re-weighed it and it is bang on 700g. That’s the standard SLR frameset. Fork is 330g.

Not bad.

And it rides like a dream.
